Who We Are
Our mission:
We facilitate a deep connection to yourself, each other, and nature.
-
Connection is the relationship you have with someone or something. It takes place in two directions: inward and outward. When we are truly connected in the present moment, we’re experiencing a bond with both ourselves and the external circumstances of the moment.
-
Vitality is the energy and strength that comes from living purposefully and vibrantly, tapped into our own inherent power and purpose.
-
Elevation is the moment-to-moment practice of choosing to operate from a higher place (or from our higher self, as we say in yoga). In any given situation, we can react (an expression of our lower self) or respond (an expression of our highest self). Choosing the latter more often elevates our quality of life, and the contribution we can be to others and the world.
-
Creation is the act of producing or causing something to exist. There is a limitless amount of things we can create - from works of art to solutions to problems to small and big changes in our lives and how we live them. We are all born with the ability to be creative beings, and only our own thoughts can thwart our creative power. Creating, like our yoga, is a practice.
-
Exploration means to investigate and seek out new possibilities. It involves going beyond what we know and purposely moving into the unknown in order to expand ourselves. Exploration gives us access to new choices, discoveries, and ways of receiving and contributing.
Our core values:
-
Out Here Yoga is an inclusive space. All bodies, identities, backgrounds, and levels of experience are welcome here. We honor diversity and are committed to cultivating an environment where everyone feels safe to show up exactly as they are.

For heated classes, we recommend bringing or renting a towel, and wearing a strong enough deodorant to help us keep the studio free of distracting odors. If you’re coming straight from another workout or physical work , consider showering before class to practice “saucha,” or cleanliness.
-
Check in before class begins at the front desk
Stay for the full class when possible
Return any props neatly after use
Be mindful of personal space

We find the easiest way to sign up for and cancel your spot in class is through the Momence app. You will need to sign in to your account to access your membership.
While we don’t have a cancellation fee, we do request that you help create space in classes by canceling your booking as soon as you know you can’t make it.
-
If you don’t arrive by the start time of class and the class has a waitlist, your spot will be given away unless you call or text us to let us know you’re still coming.
If you are pre-registered for a class and have let us know that you’re running late, we’ll leave the door open for a few minutes for you. We will wait until 5 minutes after class start time to lock the door.
If everyone pre-registered for a class has arrived by class start time, and we only have one team member (the teacher) working, we will lock the door right at class start time.
